Misc photos for the last day on the boat

On our way back from the farmers home we made an impromptu stop at a shrine and  crafts market.  My guess would be that the shrine was first and the market sprang up as an afterthought.

We have the building in front along with a figure and pagoda high up on the hill.

The market was to the side of the plaza.  Naturally that’s where everyone headed.  Our tour was definitely a bunch of Shopaholics!

This colorful brick walkway was just above the boat
landing.

Headed for market.  Or maybe this is a “goat walker”?

You may have noted these little “boats” as we progressed up the
river. They are channel markers.  The pointed one is to be passed keeping it
to the left and the red on must be kept to the right.  Failure to do so can
result in a loud ripping noise and an immediate termination of progress.

Yet another graceful bridge, unfortunately obscured by smog.

That evening we had a formal Farewell dinner where those having
birthdays and anniversaries were honored.  Donna and I got a double
header.  The white fleshed fruit with black seeds is called Dragon Fruit.

This is a Dragon Fruit.  We saw it many times on buffets
