Yangtze River PM 4-14-13

After re-boarding our “Mothership”  we again headed upstream toward Fengdu.

We saw a lot of other commercial traffic on the waterway. 
Most of it was construction material such as sand and rock headed towards
Shanghai.  Here is a load of new autos headed away from Shanghai and a load
of logs headed somewhere.  The logs meticulously  cut.  Every log
was exactly the same length.
Kui Gate headed downstream through the Three Gorges.

I did a little work on this photo, removing some structures but note that the photo and the view on the 10 Yuan bill are the same.
This is the entrance of Qutang Gorge, which also called Kui Gate.
